Indian Council of Medical Research [ICMR] had been redesignated from Indian Research Fund Association [IRFA] in 1949. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) New Delhi is the apex body in India for the formulation, coordination and promotion of biomedical research, is one of the oldest medical research bodies in the world. The ICMR is funded by the Government of India through the Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. The Council's research priorities coincide with the National health priorities such as control and management of communicable diseases, fertility control, maternal and child health.

National Institute Of Medical Statistics, ICMR invites interested candidates to attend walk-in interview for the following positions under the Project “HIV Sentinel Surveillance”

Post1: SRO [Statistics] (01 Vacancy)

Qualification:

• First class Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics/ Health statistics/ Social Sciences/ Population Studies/ Public health OR 2nd class Master’s Degree with Ph.D. in Statistics/ M Phil/Ph.D. in Statistics/Bio-statistics/Social Sciences/ Population Studies/ Public health.
• Four years R&D experience in health research.

Post2: Consultant [Statistics & Administration, Accounts] (01 Vacancy)

 

Qualification: Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Biostatistics/ Commerce with statistics and 2 years of experience in health projects.
