VACANCY FOR TECHNICAL ASSISTANT AT THE INDIAN SCHOOL OF MINES

The Indian School of Mines was formally opened on 9th December 1926, by Lord Irwin, the then Viceroy of India to address the need for trained manpower related to mining activities in the country with disciplines of Mining and Applied Geology. Institute is located at the heart of the country’s prime coking coal belt, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. In 1967 it was granted the status of a deemed to be university. Since its establishment, ISM has undergone considerable expansion of its activities, and presently it can be considered as a total technology education institute.

The Indian School of Mines invites applications for the post of Technical Assistant in a UGC sponsored project. The post is temporary in nature.

Post: Technical Assistant (01 Vacancy)

Qualification: First class Masters` degree in English literature or equivalent OR First class M Phil in English or equivalent.

Age limit: Not more than 40 years.

Fellowship: Rs.14000/- PM.

Location: Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
