VACANCIES FOR LOWER DIVISION CLERKS IN CENTRAL TOBACCO RESEARCH INSTITUTE [CTRI]

Central Tobacco Research Institute [CTRI] was established by the Indian Central Tobacco Committee (ICTC) in Rajahmundry (Andhra Pradesh) in 1947 by virtue of the dominant role played by this commercial crop. is the 2nd largest producer and exporter after China and Brazil, respectively. Institute was under the administrative control of ICTC, Madras from 1947 to 1965 and subsequently transferred to the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. Improving the Yield and Quality of various types of tobacco viz., FCV, Natu, Chewing, Lanka, Burley, HDBRG, Hookah, Cigar wrapper, Cigar filler and Oriental is the prime mandate of the institute.

Central Tobacco Research Institute [CTRI] invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerk on temporary basis but likely to be made permanent subject to satisfactory performance of the appointee.

Post: Lower Division Clerk (07 Vacancies)

Qualification: 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board/ university. A typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer.

Age limit: 18-27 years (Relaxation in upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/PWD as per norms).

Place of Posting: Rajahmundry, Hunsur, Kandukur,  Jeelugumilli.
