The Central Zoo Authority [CZA] was established in the year 1992. CZA is a statutory autonomous body under the administrative control of the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Govt. of India. The main objectives of CZA is to enforce minimum standards and norms for upkeep and health care of animals in Indian Zoos and to provide them technical and other assistance for improvement and to restrain mushrooming of unplanned and ill-conceived Zoo.

Post1: Deputy Inspector General (05 Vacancies)
Qualification: Officers of the Indian Forest Service under the central government or state government having the required service in the lower grade.
Post2: Evaluation and Monitoring Assistant (01 Vacancy)
Qualification: B.Sc. in Zoology or Wildlife as a subject.
Location: New Delhi, Jaipur, Nagpur, Hyderabad, Guwahati.
