The Tata Institute of Fundamental Research is a National Centre of the Govt. of India, under the Department of Atomic Energy, as well as a deemed University awarding degrees for master's and doctoral programs. At TIFR basic research in physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics, computer science and science education has been carried out.Applications are invited by Tata Institute of Fundamental Research for the following positions.
Post1: Scientific Officer – C (01 Vacancy)
Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics with at least 60% marks and 1-2 years experience in Monte Carlo simulations, Linux Operating System, operation of large computer farms & servers.
Post2: Project Scientific Assistant – B (01 Vacancy)
Qualification: SSC/ HSC and Diploma in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical/Industrial Electronics with at least 60% marks OR B.Sc. in Physics/ Electronics with at least 60% marks or equivalent.
Age limit: Not more than 28 years (For both vacancies).
Location: Mumbai & Ootacamund, Tamil Nadu.
