National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training & Research [NITTTR], Kolkata was established in 1965 (formerly Technical Teachers' Training Institute, Calcutta) is one of the four key institution set up by Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India to pioneer the development of Technical education system in India. The Govt. of India, in 2003, accorded national status to the institute. The focal activities of the institute are Education Short-term Training, Curriculum Development, Learning Resources Development, Research & Development and Extension Services Consultancy.

Post1: Technician Gr. I [Mech. Engg.] (01 Vacancy) **Reserved for SC.
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 5 years of experience in developmental/ laboratory work in industries or/and in educational institution.
Post2: Sr. Draftsman [Civil Engg.] (01 Vacancy) **Reserved for SC.
Qualification: Diploma in Civil engineering with 5 years of experience in engineering laboratory of any educational institution or working experience in industry with exposure to computer aided drafting.
Post3: Lower Division Clerk (01 Vacancy) **Reserved for PWD.
Qualification: 10+2/ HSC or equivalent with English typing speed of 35 wpm.
Age limit: 35 years (as on 01/05/13) for all the above positions.
