Seva Bharati Krishi Vigyan Kendra came into being in 1976 as the first KVK in West Bengal. The locale of Seva Bharati KVK is Kapgari village in Jamboni Block of Jhargram Sub-division bordering Jharkhand and Orissa States and falling under the red and lateritic zone of the district Paschim Medinipur and working for real cause of the farming community of the district.
