THDC Institute of Hydropower
Engineering and Technology was established in the years 2011 at Tehri in
an area of around 20 Acres to impart instructions in various disciplines of
Engineering with focus on Hydro Power. The objective behind setting up of the
Institute is to generate and create a pool of continuously upgraded skilled set
of knowledge with special thrust on construction, Operation and Maintenance of
Hydro Power stations.

Qualification:
- For Assistant Professor: BE / B Tech and ME / M Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech.
- For Associate Professor: BE / B Tech and ME / M Tech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B Tech or ME / M Tech. with Ph.D. or equivalent in relevant discipline.
