The Indian School of Mines was formally opened on 9th December 1926. Institute is located at the heart of the country’s prime coking coal belt, Dhanbad, Jharkhand. In 1967 it was granted the status of a deemed to be university. Indian School of Mines requires a Junior Research Fellow. The position is temporary and co terminus with the project.

Qualification: B.E. /B. Tech/M. Tech/M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Petroleum Engineering/ Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
